Wagners System 100 is the most accurate and reliable method for detecting and measuring the moisture content (MC) in wood now available. System 100 utilizes Wagner’s patented Electromagnetic Wave Technology, which detects and measures the moisture content (MC) in wood as it passes through a non-contact sensing field. This proven technology is utilized in Wagners 683 In-Line moisture measurement and management systems that have become a mainstay in most major softwood sawmills in North America and Europe. System 100 contains a number of technological advances. These advances have made it available for use in wood products manufacturing applications making it both the most accurate and affordable technology in this product category.

The System 100D  is a detection and quality control solution and is available with either a linear or a sideways sensor.  You program the System 100Ds high MC set point.  At any time that the set point is violated, System 100D triggers a 24VDC output.  The output can operate a spray marking system, alarm, or sorting system.  System 100D includes 5 species calibration settings and operates in Peak (wet spot) mode only.

The System 100M includes a number of management orientated features.  In addition to the functions of the System 100D, System 100M includes;

  • Peak (spot) or Average (board) selection

  • Programmable board speed

  • Standard Management Reports

  • Printer output

  • 20 Species calibration settings

  • Two set points - one " Too Wet" and one "Too Dry"

  • Light Sensor for Average and Board Count functions.
